Editing Your Footer
How to customise your storefront footer — columns, links, social icons, newsletter signup, and legal text — using the Header & Footer editor.
The storefront footer appears at the bottom of every page. It typically contains navigation columns, social media icons, a newsletter signup, and legal links. You edit it in Dashboard → Header & Footer → Footer tab.
Footer layout
Sellrn offers three footer layout options:
- Simple — single row with logo, links, and copyright. Best for minimal sites.
- Columns — multi-column layout with grouped links. Best for large catalogs with many pages.
- Stacked — two-row layout: content columns above, legal strip below.
Link columns
In the Columns layout, you can add up to four columns of links. Each column has:
- A column title (e.g. "Shop", "Company", "Support").
- A list of links — add any internal page, external URL, or your store policies (Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, Returns).
Click Add column to add a new column. Drag columns to reorder them.
Social media icons
Scroll to Social links and enter your profile URLs. Sellrn automatically displays the correct icon for:
- Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter / X, YouTube, Pinterest
- LinkedIn, Snapchat, WhatsApp, Telegram
Leave any URL blank to hide that icon. Social icons are displayed in a row in the footer.
Newsletter signup
Enable the Newsletter signup section to show an email capture form in the footer. Set:
- Heading (e.g. "Stay in the loop").
- Subtext (e.g. "Get new arrivals and exclusive offers straight to your inbox").
- Button label (e.g. "Subscribe").
- Connected list — choose which email list in Dashboard → Email outbox captures the signups.
Copyright and legal text
The Legal strip at the very bottom of the footer shows:
- Copyright text — auto-generated as "© 2026 [Store name]" but editable.
- Legal links — add links to Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Accessibility Statement, etc.
- Payment icons — toggle to display Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Apple Pay, Google Pay icons.
Footer background colour
By default, the footer uses the --secondary background token from your theme. You can override this with a custom background color in the Footer editor's Style section — useful for a dark footer on a light-themed site.
Saving
Click Save footer. Changes apply immediately to your live storefront.
