Store Name, Slug, and Currency
How to change your store's display name, URL slug, and default currency in General Settings.
Your store's name, slug, and currency are set in Settings → General. These are among the most fundamental settings in Sellrn.
Store name
The store name appears in your storefront's browser tab, email notifications, invoices, and any place where your brand name is referenced automatically. Change it by going to Settings and editing the Store name field.
The name is used by the brand.name variable throughout the platform, so changing it here updates it everywhere automatically.
Store slug
The slug is the URL-safe identifier for your store. Your hosted storefront URL is:
sellrn.com/s/your-slugSlug rules:
- Lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens only.
- No spaces or special characters.
- Must be unique across all Sellrn stores.
- Sellrn auto-generates a slug from your store name during onboarding, but you can change it in Settings.
⚠ Warning: changing your slug changes your store URL. Any existing links to your store (in social media bios, Google, email campaigns) will break. If you have a custom domain connected, your custom domain URL is not affected.
Currency
Your store's default currency is set in Settings → General. This controls:
- How product prices are displayed to customers.
- What currency Stripe charges in.
- How invoice and order totals are formatted.
Sellrn supports all major world currencies including USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, AED, and more.
If you need to accept payments in multiple currencies, go to Dashboard → Currencies. Multi-currency support requires the relevant plan entitlement.
Catalog mode
Also in Settings → General is the Catalog mode toggle. When enabled, your storefront becomes browse-only — the cart and checkout are hidden and an "Enquire" or "Request quote" CTA replaces "Add to cart" buttons. This is useful for showrooms, wholesale-only stores, and businesses that take orders offline.
