Page templates are pre-designed page layouts you can apply with a single click. Each template is built from bricks, so everything is editable after you apply it — you are not locked into the template's structure or content.

Applying a template to a new page

  1. Go to Dashboard → Pages and click New page.
  2. Choose Use a template (instead of "Start blank" or "Generate with AI").
  3. Browse the template library. Filter by page type (Homepage, Landing page, About, Collection, Coming soon, etc.) or by style (Minimal, Bold, Editorial, Playful).
  4. Click a template to preview it. Use the Light / Dark toggle to see how it looks in both modes.
  5. Click Use this template. The page opens in the Page Builder with the template's bricks and placeholder content loaded.

Applying a template to an existing page

Open the page in the Page Builder and click Templates in the left toolbar. This opens the template library in a side drawer. Applying a template to an existing page will replace all current bricks — you will be asked to confirm before this happens.

What templates include

Every template includes:

  • A full set of bricks composing the page layout.
  • Placeholder text that matches the tone and structure of the design.
  • Placeholder images (generic stock-style) that you replace with your own.
  • Colour and spacing already optimised for the template's style.

Templates do not include your real products, your store name, or your brand colors. Those are applied after you customise the template.

Customising after applying

After applying a template, the standard editing workflow applies:

  1. Click any text to edit it inline.
  2. Click any image placeholder to upload your own image.
  3. Use the Inspector panel to adjust colors, spacing, and typography per brick.
  4. Add, remove, or reorder bricks as needed.
  5. Click Save and Publish when ready.

Saving your own template

Once you have a page you are happy with, you can save it as a custom template for reuse:

  1. Open the page in the Page Builder.
  2. Click the menu in the top toolbar.
  3. Select Save as template.
  4. Give it a name and click Save.

Your saved templates appear in the "My templates" tab of the template library. They are private to your store.

Template updates

Sellrn adds new templates regularly. Check the template library's New tab for recently added designs. Applying a new template does not affect pages you have already built — templates are a one-time starting point, not a live connection.
