Sellrn supports multilingual storefronts — you can publish your pages in multiple languages and let visitors switch between them with a language selector. Translations are stored per-page and can be generated by AI or written manually.

Enabling multilingual

  1. Go to Settings → Languages.
  2. Your default language (set during store setup) is already listed. Click Add language to add more.
  3. Search for the language you want (e.g. "French", "German", "Arabic") and click Add.
  4. Repeat for all languages you want to support.

Supported languages

Sellrn supports all major world languages including right-to-left (RTL) languages such as Arabic and Hebrew. RTL layout is applied automatically when an RTL language is active.

Language URLs

Each language gets its own URL prefix (e.g. /fr/ for French, /de/ for German). Your default language has no prefix (e.g. /about-us). This makes pages indexable by search engines in each language.

Language selector in the storefront

Enable the language selector widget in Settings → Languages → Storefront switcher. Position options are:

  • Header — displayed next to the navigation links.
  • Footer — displayed in the footer's legal strip.
  • Both — shown in both locations.

The selector shows either flag icons, language names, or both — configurable in Settings.

Auto-detect visitor language

Toggle Auto-detect browser language in Settings to redirect visitors to their browser's language automatically on their first visit. They can still switch manually using the selector. The preference is saved in a cookie so they are not redirected again.

Translating pages

After adding languages, each page in the Page Builder shows a language switcher dropdown in the top toolbar. Switch to a language to enter translation mode. See "Translating Pages" for a step-by-step guide to translating content.

Product translations

Product titles, descriptions, and option names can be translated in Dashboard → Products → [product] → Translations tab. Product prices and inventory are shared across all languages.
