Launch Checklist Overview

Before you switch your store from maintenance mode to public, work through this checklist. Sellrn tracks your progress in Dashboard → Launch checklist.

1. Store identity

• Store name and slug set (Settings → Store details).
• Logo uploaded and visible in the header.
• Favicon set (Settings → Storefront → Favicon).
• Theme and brand colors configured (Theme Editor).

2. Pages

• Homepage designed and published.
• About page or brand story page live.
• Contact page with a working contact form or email link.
• Legal pages published: Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and (if applicable) Return Policy and Cookie Policy.

3. Products

• At least one product published with images, price, and description.
• Variants set up for any product with size, color, or other options.
• Product categories and collections organised.
• Inventory quantities entered (if tracking stock).

4. Checkout and payments

• Stripe connected and switched to live mode.
• Test checkout completed successfully.
• Shipping zones and rates configured for all countries you sell to.
• Tax settings configured (or Stripe Tax enabled).
• Order confirmation email tested and wording checked.

5. Domain

• Custom domain purchased and DNS configured.
• SSL certificate active (green padlock in browser).
• Old domain (if migrating) redirected to new domain.

6. SEO basics

• Page titles and meta descriptions set for homepage and key pages.
• Sitemap submitted to Google Search Console (auto-generated at yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml).
• Google Analytics or equivalent connected (optional but recommended).

7. Final check

• Place a real test order with a real card in live mode and immediately refund it via the Stripe Dashboard.
• Check the storefront on mobile and tablet.
• Confirm order notification emails are being received.
• Disable maintenance mode — see "Going Live".
