Sellrn's wholesale system lets you offer different prices to approved B2B buyers without needing a separate store. Price lists control what each buyer tier pays — and they can be applied automatically when a buyer logs in.

Enabling wholesale

Go to Settings → Business model and set your model to Wholesale or Hybrid (retail + wholesale). This unlocks the Wholesale section in the Dashboard.

How price lists work

A price list is a named set of pricing rules assigned to one or more buyer accounts. When an approved buyer logs in, Sellrn automatically applies their price list, replacing the retail price with the wholesale price.

You can have multiple price lists — for example, "Gold distributor (40% off)", "Silver reseller (25% off)", and "Direct buyer (net 30)".

Creating a price list

  1. Go to Dashboard → Wholesale → Price lists and click New price list.
  2. Give it a name and an optional internal note.
  3. Choose a discount type:
    • Percentage off — e.g. 30% off all products.
    • Fixed amount off — e.g. £5 off every item.
    • Custom price per product — set a specific price for each product individually.
  4. Set the minimum order value (optional) — buyers on this list must spend at least this amount per order.
  5. Click Save.

Product-level overrides

For the "Custom price per product" type — or to override a percentage rule for a specific product — open a product (Dashboard → Products), scroll to Wholesale pricing, and enter the wholesale price for each price list.

Assigning a price list to a buyer

Go to Dashboard → Wholesale → Buyers, open a buyer's profile, and set their Price list. The next time that buyer logs in, their prices update automatically.

You can also assign a price list during buyer approval — see "Buyer Applications & Approval".

Minimum order quantities (MOQ)

Set a minimum order quantity per product in the product editor under Wholesale pricing → MOQ. Buyers on a wholesale price list cannot add fewer than the MOQ to their cart.

Tax on wholesale orders

Many B2B buyers are VAT/tax registered and should not be charged sales tax. In the buyer's profile, toggle Tax exempt on. Tax is then excluded from their checkout automatically.
